Good afternoon all!  Well it’s very late in the day for my post isn’t it?  I usually am a bit earlier.  Busy day.  I was off to the Dr. for follow-up blood work.  T drove me to the Dr. and then we met Bailey and Ms. H at Fitness 19.  Good sweaty workout.  20 minutes of kick – butt cardio.  Bailey and I did arms and then met up with T and Ms. H for some core exercises.  Awesome ab workout set up by T.   Unfortunately for Ms. H, she was paired with me.  The core moves we did involved passing a six pound ball.  You know where I am going with this right?  Yes, I did – hit her right in the face with the ball.  Right in the mouth!  Ms. H – H for hairstylist – was going to do my hair after the gym.  Thankfully H didn’t hold the incident at the gym against me.  She gave me a whole new look and I love it!!

Sometimes it’s good to make a change.  Change your hair color, cut bangs, change the style.  Get a new eyeliner, eye shadow or lipstick.  Change your nail polish or paint your nails if you don’t normally.  I have found that sometimes a small change or one a bit bigger can just give me a little pep.  A little excitement to push through, give you a little push to keep you going on your journey or help push you towards starting it.  These things work for me.  I’m not joking when I say that painting my nails gives me a little pep – it does.  It’s nothing big and it doesn’t have to be.  Doing that thing for yourself – if it works, why not?
