005Well, that was a great idea!!!  Gym photo today is after 1 hour of cardio on three different machines.  We smelled as good as we look.  That damn elliptical – that’s what got us.  It is over and Bailey and I have given ourselves a nice big workout in preparation for the weekend. 

So one of my new things – iphone applications.  I like tracking workouts and having a food journal.  I use one that is provided by Fitness 19.  It’s really good because it has all the machines that are at the gym.  I like that I don’t have to try to figure out the name of different machines, it’s all on the app.  Pretty cool right?!  So no more jackwagon journal.  I log it into my phone.  I also use My Fitness Pal.  It was recommended to me and it is pretty good for tracking food choices.  You can also link up with other people, accountability, if that helps you out.  I find that just writing down what I eat makes a big difference. 

Heading into the weekend is always something that many of us have to think about.  We have plans, party’s, whatever.  Make plans, prepare for food choices.  Don’t let a bad choice on Friday turn into bad choices all weekend.  It’s so easy to do, many of us have done it.  Remember your goals and that summer is not far off.  Is a soda, a few cookies, ice-cream – whatever your weakness – worth sabotaging your success?  It’s not and we all know it!  I’ll be working on my site the next few days, putting together some updates!!  Good way to keep my mind off food!!  Have a great day and a great weekend.
